Introducing Yabisa, a collection of eyewear inspired by a journey of personal discovery. This season Port Tanger presents a panoramic series of 9 frames in evolved shapes and hues that speak to the holistic exploration of oneself. In Arabic, the word Yabisa recalls a dry land sweltering beneath the sun, though only in the most challenging environments does true transformation occur. Even flowers bloom in the desert.

Tootsy is a patent leather ballet flat with a pointed toe. Discarded ribbons and Italian deadstock are hand-assembled, forming irregular knots on the ankle straps and outsole. Rows of crystals trace the outline of the shoe. The leather insole is padded for extra comfort. Rubber studs on the outsole provide traction, the heel is made of thermo-molded rubber that is embossed with the 1309SR logo.

Puli is a leather moccasin with long fringe details. A leather cord is woven around the opening, tying together in the front. Discarded ribbons and Italian deadstock are hand-assembled, forming irregular knots on the ankle straps and outsole. Rows of crystals trace the outline of the shoe. Twinkle are oval-shaped sunglasses with hanging charms. They have an open nose bridge and extended ends. The temples are perforated using a unique process similar to piercing with inserted crystal, silver and gold metal hoops. They are stamped with the 1309SR logo.

This unlined parka is made of washed cotton chintz with a polished, water-repellent finish. It has a relaxed fit with a double-breasted closure and dropped shoulder. The storm flap covers the shoulders on both sides, shielding the garment from wind-driven rain. It features a wide collar with a convertible lapel and a detachable hood.

This multi-faceted dress is made of washed cotton poplin with a soft touch and a classic shirting stripe. Worn as a dress, it can be tied at the neck and fastened at the waist or left open to be worn as a draped overcoat. It features inverted seams and large inverted jetted pockets for functionality.

This blouson-ensemble is made of heavy cotton with a tight twill structure and a smooth, compact feel. It is comprised of two separate pieces that can be worn together or separately; a blouson with a long v-neckline and dropped shoulders, and a sleeveless gilet with cotton webbing. Details include pleating around the adjustable waistband, snap-button pleated sleeves, and military-inspired stitching. The two pieces can be attached at the back of the neck with a single snap button.

This skirt is made of a washed wool with a sleek hand and a fluid drape that is ideal for mid-season tailoring. The workwear shorts are made of compact cotton drill/canvas that is garment dyed, adding subtle variations of colours to its textured twill base, and giving it a rugged look. Because workwear should be as sturdy as it is comfortable, we built in a gusset system with no middle seam and a reinforced crotch - Phipps’ patented package-protecting system.These revised carpenter shorts are finished with rivets and Hell’s Angels-inspired details; D- rings on gros-grain tabs allowing you to tie your bandana on the road.

This shirt is made of two-toned tussah, with one side fashioned in periwinkle blue and the other in creamy ecru. Inspired by the illustrations of Jean Cocteau, the outlined profile of a face divides the two shades, detailed along the edges with square-shaped embroidery. The fit is relaxed and oversized, draping loosely from the dropped shoulders, its hem slightly tapered-in. It features classic shirting details such as a pointed collar, with Schiaparelli bijoux buttons fastening the front and cuffs.

This bustier top is made of deep black wool and Calais lace trim. It is lingerie-inspired, with a snug fit that is accentuated by lined underwire and boning. A fitted bustier in plush black velvet is stitched with directional seams, ballooning at the hem in a buoyant peplum, a charmed zipper closing the back. It cinches above a black wool pencil skirt with golden nipple buttons down the back.

A l’origine était ‘Empreinte’, premier né des parfums Courrèges lancé en 1971.
